BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

Lingayen, Pangasinan

5 hours from Metro Manila

If you can’t seem to decide whether you want your next trip to be by a shore or in a busy city, why not head to a place that has both?

Lingayen in Pangasinan could just be the perfect destination for history buffs and beach bums. Around this city is a famous gulf that used to be the landing site of the American soldiers, including General Douglas McArthur, during the Second World War. Now, the two-kilometer long shore of Lingayen Beach is yours to sun bathe, play, and relax on.

Just 10 minutes away from the beach is the historical Capitol Building. Originally built in 1918, this structure was heavily damaged during the war but was rebuilt years later. It boasts Philippine state architecture during American colonial period that’s so grand it has been named one of the Architectural Treasures of the Philippines.
